Your key responsibilities

• Development and implementation of innovative drug delivery platforms for spray-dried amorphous solid dispersions (SDASDs) for poorly soluble compounds.

• Cross-functional coordination of all implementation activities.

• Lead and coordinate the design and implementation of development standards for SDASDs.

• Design, development, and optimisation of SDASD formulations for poorly soluble compounds, utilising expertise in spray drying technology.

• Manage drug development projects, including timeline, milestone, and budget management.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams in the Aenova group, including analytical development, integration of the manufacture of SDASD and downstream processing within the group portfolio.

• Provide support and technical guidance to the formulation team, including troubleshooting and implementing innovative solutions.

• Follow and evaluate emerging development trends and advancements in SDASD technology and drug delivery.

Your profile

• PhD or MSc degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

• Experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, with a focus on amorphous solid dispersion.

• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing drug development projects.

• Strong understanding of spray drying principles, solid-state characterization techniques, and formulation optimization strategies.

• Excellent project management skills.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across interdisciplinary teams
